Cornfield School is small SEND secondary school for students with identified SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) needs. The school is DfE approved and delivers care and full-time daily education for girls between the ages of 11 and 18. Most students on roll have an EHCP (Education and Health Care Plan).
They provide a safe, nurturing and therapeutic school environment to support all of our pupils to feel safe, to understand the world we live in and to develop a sense of belonging.
Curriculum: The curriculum and teaching is designed to engage by building around the interests, learning styles, sensory needs and aspirations of each pupil. The approach is to ensure that we support pupils to gain relevant, appropriate skills, knowledge and qualifications which will support them for the future.
