Things to note

Home Learning Support
The focus of the live event was around supporting the wellbeing and remote learning of our young people during the current lockdown. The event included short presentations from Mrs Percy, Dr Bassford, Mr Cobbold and Mrs Glossop before a live question and answer session

Work Experience
At Hardenhuish School they value Work Experience as an integral part of the Careers and Work Related Learning programme. Students in Year 10 and Year 12 undertake work experience on a designated week each July.Work Experience is where the student carries out a particular job or range of tasks, under supervision, within the workplace. As a school, we value the intangible benefits gained through our Work Experience programme and we know that our young people benefit from their experiences.

Enrichment Activities
Throughout the year there are extensive opportunities for pupils to explore existing interests and try new ones both at lunchtime and after school: for example, musical groups, sports, chess, creative writing, trips to art galleries, theatres, and many more. Our very successful Activities Days, which allow pupils to take part in a range of different activities and trips, ensure that each year finishes on a high note
