At Langley Park School for Girls, students experience the highest quality of teaching and achieve truly excellent results. LPGS is annually one of the highest attaining non selective schools in Bromley. Results are also impressive when compared nationally, sitting in the top 5% of similar schools. Academic success is possible because the learning experience and the relationships forged enable our students to become confident young people who have the skills, attributes and confidence to navigate higher education and beyond. That learning experience includes learning beyond the classroom in a wide variety of extra-curricular clubs, educational trips and the responsibility of shaping their school through many varied student leadership opportunities.

LEARNING AND CURRICULUM
Success in the 21st Century requires knowing about learning and how it works.  Students must develop strong critical thinking, interpersonal and communication skills in order to succeed in an increasingly fluid, interconnected and complex world. 21st Century Learning means that students master content while producing, synthesising and evaluating information from a wide variety of subjects and sources. We are using Bloom’s taxonomy to develop higher order thinking skills and Guy Claxton’s models of learning to enable our students to develop learning attributes of reflectiveness, reciprocity, resourcefulness and resilience. Our curriculum prepares our students for places at top universities, as well as for the challenges of career and personal success in the 21st century. 

SIXTH FORM
The aim of the Sixth Form at LPGS is to provide a high quality Post-16 education which will enable you to reach the best possible standards of achievement in both academic and personal development.High expectations, strong teaching and excellent relationships are key features of our Sixth Form. We wish all those entering the Sixth Form to make an informed, sensible decision about their next step.The Co-Educational Sixth Form is vibrant, diverse, successful and growing. Nearly three quarters of students from Year 11 choose to stay on because they have discovered that our supportive staff and friendly atmosphere, combined with challenging expectations and high standards, will guarantee future success.
