Leicester High School for Girls is Independent Secondary school in Not applicable for kids aged 3 to 18.

Facilities

  • Girls in Junior Department benefit from well-designed classroom spaces within a separate Junior building on the School site. This enables to maintain the family feeling, which our parents value, whilst also ensuring the girls benefit from access to all the facilities you would expect.  
  • The Senior School has a central gym, library, drama/dance studio, ICT suites, a language computer suite, six science laboratories, art and design studio and Food Studies room set around an award-winning courtyard garden.

Admission Details

They are delighted you are considering LHS for your daughter. Although the majority of girls join us at the start of the academic year in September, several girls - perhaps due to family relocation - join at other points in the year. The admissions journey will differ slightly depending on if your interest is in the Junior Department, Senior School or Sixth Form or if you are applying for an International Student place. However, your journey will usually include the following stages:
