The London East Academy is a Muslim-faith independent secondary school which was established in response to the immense community demand for high-quality education that meets the aspirations of modern-day British Muslims.

Facilities

All boys will receive guidance interviews through the course of Years 10 and 11. Individual interviews help them to make informed choices about their educational or work-related pathways at the end of Year 11. All Year 10 boys take part in a period of work experience (minimum of one week) at the end of Year 10 which is used to support the work-related learning curriculum.

  • As part of the curriculum students will pursue a series of compulsory enrichment activities; these include Work Experience, Debate Club, Sports Activities such as Boxing Club and Football Club. Information Communication Technology (ICT) will be used to facilitate learning in addition to meeting National Curriculum requirements.

Admission Details

Current grades must be expected or above in English and Maths. Entry Test if required. If successful with above: Interview with Head Teacher. Applications are welcome from all sections of the community, and applicants will be taken if they meet the admission criteria
