Things to note
Educational visits and trips are for many people the best remembered part of their school days. At Notre Dame they strive to ensure that girls have many opportunities to create memories which will last them a life time. In view educational visits have a hugely beneficial impact on the learning of girls. By taking the learning beyond the classroom students have the opportunity to experience rather than just read or hear about what they study.
The co-curricular programme is diverse and includes sport, charitable works, the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme, art, music and drama. Many of the pupils have a particular talent and wish to further hone their skills outside of their lessons. As the activities are delivered by teaching staff the girls continue to benefit from the expert tuition which they offer. Facilities such as indoor swimming pool, recording studio and professional theatre provide an inspirational setting for our activities. The school is committed to developing excellence and they celebrate the girls’ achievements both in lessons and in their wider education.
