Quwwat Ul Islam Girls' School is Independent Secondary school in Not applicable for kids aged 4 to 16 (Gender - 4 to 16 )

Quwwat-ul-Islam Girls’ School was established in August 2003. Initially, the school enrolled just fifty pupils but over time, by the Grace of Allah, the school expanded and has gone from strength to strength. In September 2005, the school was extended to cater for Secondary pupils.They now cater for pupils from Reception to the Year 11, teaching the National Curriculum Subjects, as well as providing a solid Islamic education within a nurturing Islamic environment.The Islamic Studies Curriculum aims to instill the light of the Prophetic guidance within the hearts of our students. The curriculum is delivered in a caring environment to help nurture our future generations in becoming confident young Muslim women ready for life in modern day Britain. We aim to develop student’s acquisition of the core knowledge of our religion in accordance with the Quran and Sunnah. Students will be empowered to take personal responsibility for themselves, their environment and of others within the wider community, ultimately as true flag bearers of the Ummah.

At Quwwat ul Islam Girls’ School we place great importance on ensuring children are happy and healthy. They will establish this by providing an environment in which children can learn and develop within an Islamic ethos of openness and are taught to treat each other with respect, to feel safe, to have a voice and are listened to.The will consider the emotional, physical, social, moral, spiritual and cultural development of each child. Our children will have a broad and rich learning experience whilst at QUIGS in order for them to become successful learners. This experience will allow skills to be developed which learners can use in both their current and future education

Curriculum Overview: Year 1
At Quwwat ul Islam Girls’ School, we believe a curriculum should be designed to maximise pupils’ life chances and should be pupil- centered, using pupils’ needs and lived experiences as its starting point.The QUIGS Curriculum comprises of the EYFS Curriculum and the National Curriculum for both Primary and Secondary aged pupils.

Curriculum Overview: Year 7
Each learning driver will be achieved through individual character development strands. It is in the spirit of these four learning drivers and character development strands that staff and leaders at Quwwat-ul-Islam Girls’ School are driven in the desire to enrich learners to the wonders of our world, school community and wider communities.
