Sandwell Valley school is a charity and an independent school offering alternative provision to pupils aged 11 to 18.
They provide a fresh start for young people who require a small, nurturing but academically rigorous environment to get back on track with their learning.
Sandwell Valley School is a place of learning where students are at the heart of the school. They respect traditional values of hard work, safety, responsibility, self-discipline and respect. They seek to rebuild confidence and resilience whilst preparing our students for the next chapter of their lives.
They want everyone at SVS to be a part of the community. Through support systems, they promote the development of excellent relationships between staff and students. The student council represents student views which are an integral part in the continuous improvement of service.
The School aims to facilitate a culture whereby pupil’s knowledge and understanding are developed in order to promote their self-belief and respect in their own abilities.
