Children are happiest when their school work excites them, when they are recognised for their achievements and supported if needed, when they feel safe, and when they have time to play. At St Lawrence College we take great care to support each child, nurturing them to reach their potential in all aspects of school life as they move through Pre-Prep and into Prep and beyond. With spacious grounds, wonderful resources and a dedicated staff team they leave no stone unturned to find out what motivates your child, offering them an innovative range of lessons and experiences.
Prep
They are ambitious for every child and are proud of the academic record. They recognise that education, in its truest sense, is measured not just in results but by preparing young people for a successful future. The learning programme is based on the National Curriculum but always aims to go beyond those confines and to make the process accessible, relevant, meaningful, stimulating and enjoyable for all pupils. Learning across the curriculum is underpinned by an emphasis on creative problem-solving which teaches children how to learn and develops a real sense of intellectual enquiry.
