Nursery – Year 1: Candidates will be invited in for an informal assessment, which typically lasts around one hour.
Years 2 – 6: Candidates will be invited in for age-appropriate assessments in maths and English, as well as an interview with a member of Primary team.
Year 7 (11+): Candidates applying for a fee-paying place will be invited in to sit assessments in maths, English reading and English writing, as well as attend an interview with a member of academic team at a later stage.
Years 8-10: Candidates will be invited in to sit assessments in maths, English, languages and science, as well as a solo interview with the respective Head of Year.
Year 12 (Sixth Form): Year 12 is second largest intake and candidates will be invited in for solo interviews with our sixth form team. Additionally, candidates will be asked to submit a personal statement.In all cases candidates will be asked to provide a copy of their most recent school report and they will reach out to candidates’ current schools for a confidential reference. In some cases they may also ask candidates to sit additional assessments, e.g. candidates who are applying from overseas.
