The Grammar School At Leeds

Description

The Grammar School At Leeds is Independent Secondary school for kids aged 3 to 19.

Facilities

Primary School: Primary School has recently undergone an extensive refurbishment and extension programme to accommodate our younger pupils who relocated from the Rose Court campus in 2020. All primary classrooms are light and inspiring, with room to change layouts and areas to learn together in smaller groups. Each year group is arranged together to provide a warm, family atmosphere with a sense of belonging. There are specialist well-equipped areas including two science rooms and separate drama and music studios. They also have two libraries, a large gymnasium and self-contained Nursery area. These are complemented by the outdoor amenities which include extensive playing fields and playgrounds for each year group with age-appropriate equipment. Pupils also have access to the superb senior school facilities which include a swimming pool, astro-turf and various other sports courts and pitches.

Senior School: Modern teaching facilities provide every student with the opportunity and environment to excel. Facilities include an extensively equipped multimedia library, ICT and intranet resources, science and language laboratories, art and design studios, and food technology areas. Outstanding facilities and resources extend to support a diverse and full programme of sporting, recreational, musical and artistic activities. They have built a state of the art 3G pitch to enhance the sports provision.

The Sixth Form Centre: In addition to the Senior School’s excellent facilities, students also have access to their own large common room with café facilities and garden, and their own separate work space and ICT suite. These are open before and after normal school hours to provide flexibility in study and recreation.
