Brook St, Tonbridge TN9 2PN, United Kingdom
11-18 Years

Description

The Judd School is leading State Secondary school in Tonbridge. This is a Selective school for kids age 11 to 18 years. Gender - Boys

From academic olympiads and science conferences to school plays and cultural exchanges, students have continued to be supported in every aspect of school life to ensure that they can become the best versions of themselves.   Standing at the front gates in year 7, with a blazer to my knees, I was nervous about joining a new school. Fortunately the welcoming atmosphere set by my form tutor, head of house and older pupils meant I quickly settled in. As head prefects, we want to ensure that all of you, no matter what year you are joining, all enjoy Judd as much as we have.

Sport
The School has a national reputation in each of its major team sports, rugby and cross-country in the winter, cricket and athletics in the summer. We believe, however, participation is as important as elite performance, so the school runs open practice sessions in the younger years where all are welcome and fields C, D, E and even F teams when possible. We have recently added incredible facilities at Vizards, six rugby pitches, two cricket squares and a fabulous 3G rugby pitch, which is revolutionising our approach.

Sixth Form
The vast majority of students stay on for the Sixth Form and are joined by around seventy five students, boys and girls from local schools and further afield. The links between the Sixth Form and younger students spans the activities of the school – academic, pastoral and extra-curricular. The Sixth Form embody the school’s maxim of ‘Learn, Serve, Lead’, contributing so much for which the school is known and acclaimed.
