Curriculum
The St Elizabeth's curriculum consists of the National Curriculum core and foundation subjects which are taught in a relevant, exciting and memorable way to inspire pupils.  As a Catholic school, the teaching of RE forms 10% of our curriculum, and the School Values and British Values are integrated throughout all subject areas. The curriculum aims to stimulate curiosity and a love of learning while ensuring that children learn and develop the essential knowledge and skills for their age. An enrichment programme for each year group enables all children to learn from visiting experts, take their learning beyond the classroom and collaborate with other schools to create long-lasting memories.

Features

Things to note

SEND
Supporting Children with Special Needs, At St Elizabeth’s, we believe that all our pupils are entitled to an inclusive education where they can make progress and achieve their full potential, irrespective of special educational needs or disability.  It is our intention that all children receive a broad and balanced curriculum which enables them to develop the skills, knowledge and self-confidence to make a successful transition to their next stage in education and ultimately into adulthood. At St Elizabeth’s, Quality First Teaching meets the needs of the majority of pupils through personalisation and differentiation to remove barriers to learning.  Some children need educational provision that is additional to or different from this basic entitlement.  Those who require provision that is personalised to a high degree and required to be delivered for the longer term, can be described as having a special educational need (SEND).

PE and Sport Premium
The PE and Sport Premium Funding is allocated to all state-maintained primary schools to: Develop or add to the PE, physical activity and sport provision in a school.
