Facilities

  • Benenden’s Music Department is found in one of the School’s most picturesque corners. It is physically linked to the School Hall, where most of the concerts and recitals take place, and is close to the Chapel where the musicians often seek to take advantage of the excellent acoustics. There are numerous practice, teaching and rehearsals rooms, the range of pianos and other instruments. 
  • Multi-purpose Theatre and two excellent professional sound and lighting technicians. 
  • Students at Benenden have the opportunity to dedicate an evening a week to some exciting engineering projects, taking part in every aspect of construction.

  • Model United Nations (MUN) is a global programme for students which promotes skills of diplomacy, teamwork and debating. With more than 100 students involved each year, MUN has become a firm fixture in our co-curricular programme.
  • Music holds a privileged place at the heart of Benenden with countless opportunities for girls of all ages. There is activity in the Music Department each day from early until late.
  • The Drama department at Benenden School is professional, vibrant, and innovative. 
  • Two of the most popular Outdoor Education programmes are the Duke of Edinburgh's (DofE) Award scheme and the Combined Cadet Force (CCF).
  • Benenden is a sporty school. It is cool to be sporty and one of the best things about being part of it is that students and staff embrace their love of sport - team or individual.

Admission Details

11+ Entry: Entry lists for September 2022 and September 2023 are now closed and they are operating waiting lists.Once a registration list is closed, they maintain a reserve list of those who would like to be considered for a place should one become available. If you would like your daughter’s name to be placed on the reserve list for 2022 or 2023, please return a completed Registration Form without the fee. They will ask for the fee to be paid in the event that they are able to move a candidate’s name to the main Admissions register.

14+ Entry: The waiting list for 14+ 2022 entry is now closed and they cannot consider any further applications. The deadline for Year 10 applications for September 2023 is 1 August 2022.

Sixth Form Entry: List for 16+ 2022 entry is now closed and they cannot consider any further applications.The deadline for Sixth Form applications for September 2023 is 1 August 2022. Fees

  • Boarding fees for the 2022-23 school year are £14,501 per term.
  • Fees for day boarding are £10,883 per term.
