Facilities

Pine Class
The children in Pine Class are in the Reception Class.  The class teacher is Mrs Yasmin and they are also supported by Mrs Day and Miss Mekaoui. In Reception, they aim to prepare children for their school life by providing them with what they need to become independent, interested and inquisitive learners. We also aim to make the children’s first year at school enjoyable and instill an enthusiasm for learning which they will take with them through their school career.

Elm Class
Elm Class' teacher is Miss Pritchard and they are supported by Mrs Jeffery. Welcome to Elm Class. They are a friendly and caring class, who are always looking out for each other when they are working both inside, as well as in the outside area.  Through out the year, the children will learn about many different topics including: materials, animals and landmarks from around the world and real life superheroes.

Beech Class
The learning in Year 2 is organised in a range of ways including group work, independent learning and focused activities. All lessons are taught with a whole class input which then leads into the focused activities which are differentiated by 4 levels of challenge. The children are able to choose their preferred challenge independently and are then supported through them. In year 2 they guide the learning through the children's interests. They do this thorough a channel of a Big Question. Accessing the learning in this form allows the children to become engrossed and engaged into the topic and encourages them to ask further questions to deeper their knowledge.
