Conyers School is a State Secondary school for kids aged 11 to 18 (Gender - Mixed)
They have high expectations for everyone in the school community, aspiring to excellence in teaching and achieving impressive standards in examinations. Alongside this, there is much to celebrate apart from the purely academic. Outstanding success beyond the classroom in sport, music, drama and art are features of life at Conyers which make it such a wonderful school. Curriculum
The aim of the Conyers curriculum is that all students are given a wide range of experiences, within and beyond the classroom, through which they gain the knowledge and skills they require to make a successful transition to education or employment at 16 or 18. Subject leaders plan a 7 year curriculum starting with (if appropriate) the national curriculum. This overview acts as a framework for detailed schemes of work that ensure there is a coherent sequence to what children learn and when they learn it. Provision for students with SEND is modified so that their needs are met whilst maintaining curriculum breadth.

Music
Learning to play an instrument is one of the most rewarding and enjoyable activities a young person can do. It is widely recognised that studying Music helps develop a wide range of skills and abilities that benefit the student both academically and emotionally. This is especially true for students who participate in ensembles such as bands and choirs. This is why Go Music was founded, and why the musicians at Conyers School perform as part of bands and choirs in events such as the School Show, Carol Service, Summer Concert and tour to Disneyland Paris.
Sport
Go Sport Conyers is a community sport project that provides a variety of sporting activities to the entire community together with students and staff of Conyers School. A state of the art, floodlit, 3G rubber crumb pitch, grass football pitches and mini soccer pitches, large sports hall and gymnasium, both with sprung floor, are all available for hire.
