Grey Court is a popular, thriving and well established school. We see the school as the central resource for learning and support in the local community and continue to strive for excellence in all we do. I am proud to say we were judged as an outstanding school in all categories following our latest Ofsted inspection in January 2018. Ofsted concluded that Grey Court has “the highest ambition for all pupils. Only the best will do,” and that the school, “offers an exceptional quality of education”. This built on the platform of excellence established when our school was first judged as outstanding in May 2013.

Students also take a number of additional subjects which are non examined but mandatory until the end of year 11.
Year 11 - Students complete their GCSE and BTEC courses, ending with public exams at the end of year 11. They continue the core, optional and additional subjects begun in year 10. Some students also have the option of taking the Level 2 Certificate in Further Mathematics.
Sport
Sport is an important and vibrant part of life at Grey Court. We aim to provide a wide range of sports at levels suited to students’ different abilities and interests. The sports programme provides opportunities for students to get involved at competitive or recreational levels. High levels of participation at all sports is important to us at Grey Court and we aim to get every student involved in the extra-curricular sporting activities of the school.
Educational visits
In the autumn term each year we dedicate a full day to whole school activities where each child takes part in a fun and educational trip. These have included visits to St Paul’s Cathedral, to local mosques and temples, to Box Hill and to the Imperial War Museum. Each trip is linked to the school curriculum whilst also developing social skills and encouraging leadership and self esteem.
Sixth Form
Grey Court sixth form provides an outstanding post 16 education which includes A levels and vocational qualifications at BTEC level 3. Our results are consistently amongst the best in state schools in London. Each year we help students secure places at the top universities in the UK, including Oxbridge and other Russell Group universities. We offer superb guidance and support to help students make the best decisions for their future study and employment opportunities.
