Newton Farm Nursery, Infant and Junior School is a State Primary School for kids aged 3 to 11 (Gender - co educational )

As a school they are completely committed to ensuring that children reach their full potential. Curriculum
The Curriculum at Newton Farm is designed to be unique and allows us to deliver on our promise of “Excellence in Education” for all. The three pillars of Growth Mindset, Philosophy For Children (P4C) and Rights Respecting Schools are built into every aspect of the school day for all children from Nursery to Year 6.We recognise the challenges our children face now and in the future and so have designed the curriculum to allow them to succeed in their lives and careers. Besides developing a robust curriculum, principles of digital and sustainable education are embedded throughout all the learning that takes place at Newton Farm school. In addition, pupils are expected to develop a strong understanding of English and this is actively taught throughout the whole curriculum.

Nursery
Starting Nursery is an exciting time for both children and parents. They aspire to provide all children with the best possible start to their learning journey and to achieve their full potential. The webpage contains information about our curriculum as well as feedback from our parents and children.  Newton Farm Nursery is a part time nursery which offers a morning session and an afternoon session.  Parents need to make the choice of their child attending either the morning session (8.45am to 11.45am) or the afternoon session (12.45 to 15.45). There are twenty six children in each session.

SEND
Local Authorities and schools are required to publish and keep under review information about services they expect to be available for the children and young people with Special Educational Needs and/or disabilities (SEND) aged 0-25. This is known as the ‘Local Offer’. The intention of the Local Offer is to improve choice and transparency for families. It will also be an important resource for parents in understanding the range of services and provision in the local area. Information is published as part of the SEND reforms under the Children and Families Act 2014.
