Ribston Hall High School is a State Secondary School for kids aged 11 to 18 (Gender - Girls)
At Ribston, we know that every child is different. The ethos is to enable and empower young women to discover their own unique potential. They believe that each child's individuality should be encouraged and developed. This is achieved by offering an all-round holistic education where they value all of the subjects they teach, and have worked hard to ensure students receive a broad learning experience in many different subjects that are not always on offer at other schools. As a Biologist, They recognise the value of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Maths), particularly in the education of women as these areas are under-represented in undergraduate study and pursuance of careers in these fields. This is something they would like to change by encouraging those that are interested to consider STEM at this school and view its study as an opportunity and a gateway to a multitude of careers.
