Anns Grove Primary School is a State Primary school for kids aged 3 to 11 (Gender - Mixed )

Anns Grove is a vibrant, busy and friendly school, with lots going on. The children are confident and enthusiastic learners who participate in a wide range of after school clubs. They enjoy sport and take part in many competitions and events throughout the year. They are very proud of our good reputation within our local community of Heeley and beyond. The school vision statement, developed by children, staff and parents encapsulates our ethos here at Anns Grove. 
 

Facilities

Curriculum
The curriculum is ambitious for all pupils and designed to promote the development of the whole child and equip children with core skills so that they become fluent and enthusiastic readers and mathematicians from an early age.  Curriculum leaders have coherently planned and sequenced the curriculum to match the learning needs of all pupils at Anns Grove.  The curriculum is adapted, designed and developed for all pupils including those with special educational and/or disabilities.  They want the children to appreciate and understand cultural diversity in their own community and beyond so that they can learn to live harmoniously in a diverse world.  The curriculum enables children to make healthy choices about their lifestyle, enjoy learning and contribute to their community.

Mental Health and Well-Being
They are all becoming more aware of the impact of childrens’ emotional well-being on their attendance and achievement at school. It’s very important for everyone working at Anns Grove to support children and adults when they face challenges in their lives and they have access to training and resources to help us to help you and your child. The vision is to be a mentally healthy school with a whole-school approach to mental health and wellbeing. They are a school that helps children flourish, learn and succeed by providing opportunities for them, and the adults around them, to develop the strengths and coping skills that underpin resilience. They see positive mental health and wellbeing as fundamental to our values and culture. Mental health and wellbeing is seen as ‘everybody’s business’ at Anns Grove.
