The curriculum nurtures the beliefs, attitudes and behaviours that enable the children to become responsible global citizens with a life-long love of learning; equipping them for the ever-changing world.Exciting and engaging lessons that make learning purposeful and motivate the pupils. Opportunities to acquire, practise and apply key skills and attitudes across the curriculum. A range of topics which reflect the rich and varied nature of the school community and the wider world. A diverse range of experiences inside and outside school. Challenge for all pupils in order to develop their understanding, resilience and independence.

Things to note

School clubs
As well as the rich learning experiences our pupils enjoy in their classrooms we also provide a wide variety of extra-curricular clubs. These clubs help our pupils broaden their interests and expand their horizons. Clubs run before school (8-8.40am) and after school (3.30-4.30pm). Children are dropped at after school clubs by their class teacher and can be collected from the main playground. The school Breakfast Club is run by school staff in the hall every day from 8-8.40am. The sessions includes breakfast (cereal, juice and toast) and the chance to take part in activities before school starts. It can be booked in advance via SCOpay and costs £4 per session. You will need to purchase the number of mornings you will need and then go to your basket to make your purchase.

They are a small inclusive school committed to ensuring that all children, including those with special educational needs, have access to high quality teaching and are able to make the best possible progress.We have high expectations for all our children and they thrive in an environment where they are happy, challenged and feel valued and cared for.
