Walker Primary School is a two form entry, diverse school set in the glorious surroundings of Southgate, amongst the cricket ground and Christ Church. The new building and playground is spacious and welcoming. The school community is ambitious and everybody within it works hard together to create an experience that enables all the children to achieve their potential. The same hard work is also expected of the children too and their positive learning behaviour ensures that there is progress to celebrate every day! The children are at the heart of every decision that we make. For instance, the curriculum has been thoughtfully created to engage, stimulate and challenge every child and foster a love for life-long learning and curiosity of the world.

Early Years Foundation Stage
In EYFS, we believe that children learn best through practical, hands on experiences in a nurturing and stimulating environment. The best outcomes for children’s learning is where they are in charge, leading the way, exploring their interests and developing a depth of understanding with the support of an adult.
