Pre Prep
The PrePrep provides our youngest children with a wonderful foundation for a lifetime of learning. They are supported by experienced practitioners who are dedicated and passionate and have a wealth of qualifications. The classes are small with high staff ratios which in turn promotes a purposeful and happy atmosphere. The children also benefit from having regular access to the 15 acres of beautiful school grounds, including a woodland classroom. This wonderful resource is utilised weekly, enhancing the opportunities for learning alongside nature. Children in the PrePrep swim weekly in our fantastic new indoor pool.At the heart of Early Years and Foundation Stage is fun; children are inherently curious and their brains absorb information when they are at a high level of positive emotion. Each and every day, we strive to offer them new and joined up challenges that are exciting to explore. The children are the centre of everything we do in Early Years. Their wellbeing and educational journey is underpinned by a fantastic team of passionate teachers who have a wealth of experiences and the children could not be in better hands.
Prep School
The Prep School is a place of learning, a place where pupils have wide-ranging opportunities to become fulfilled, skilful and happy citizens. Ensuring this process of all round growth; academically, spiritually, morally, athletically and creatively is our aim. Every pupil is encouraged, taught and challenged to fulfil their potential, by being immersed in an environment of discovery and wholehearted participation. We strive to allow time and space for academic work to be balanced by sport, music, drama and art, along with a diverse choice of other co-curricular activities including service to the local community. Through these activities we aim to allow our young people to acquire a confidence in their relationships with adults.Confidence lies at the heart of successful learning. In Middle School small form based classes, an emphasis on individual needs and teachers who will go that extra mile ensure that every pupil receives the time and attention needed to develop the confidence and desire to learn for life. Achievement is recorded in a personalised pupil planner which allows weekly communication with parents
