They aim to ensure that everyone grows to fulfil their potential, providing an environment rooted in Christian values, where learning, laughter and friendship are at the heart of everything they do.As part of this vision they have discussed with children, staff and governors the five key values that they all feel will help the school community to grow and flourish.Every child matters because every child is special. Naturally they are special to you, their parent or carer, and to grandparents. They are also very special to the school. This is particularly true for them in church schools because of what they believe about the value God places on every child.

Curriculum
The knowledge rich and progressive curriculum is coherently planned to ensure that children’s knowledge and skills build each year in both the core and foundation subjects. The creative approach to planning topics means children are excited by what they are learning about, whilst the curriculum concepts help children to deepen their understanding and make links between their learning. Metacognitive approaches ensure that learning sticks.Through the distinctly Christian identity, Collective Worship, PSHE and RSE curriculums, children have opportunities for prayer, reflection and gain a deep understanding of British Values.

Breakfast Club
Breakfast Club runs every morning, during term time, in the school hall (please enter from the playground) from 7.30am until 9.00am. Children are provided with a choice of healthy breakfast items served by the Breakfast Club staff Mrs Saltmarsh and Mrs Cook.

At Staindrop CE Primary School, they are inspired by Christian faith and practice. They are committed to the equal inclusion of all pupils in all areas of school life.
